PDB-C158 Overview
The Bulk protects these photodiodes from damage. Photodiodes are protected by Radial packages in order to ensure their safety. When photodiodes are continuously reverse-biased, the maximum voltage they can withstand is 50V. When the photodiodes are reverse-biased, the voltage should never exceed 50V. The breakdown voltage should be 75V to ensure photodiodes work. In the absence of light input, a photodiode produces 2nA current.
