Typically, NTC thermistors are packaged in a Tape & Reel (TR) package. It's in the 0603 (1608 Metric) package for convenience. To make NTC thermistors work, the resistance tolerance is ±5%. NTC thermistors should be set to -40°C~125°C temperature in order to provide reliable performance. With a maximum operating temperature of 125°C, NTC thermistors operate reliably. It is recommended that NTC thermistors operate at a minimum temperature of -40°C for relibility reasons. In a NTC thermistor, the maximum power is set to 100mW. In general, NTC thermistors can keep their maximum power dissipation at 100mW.
