NTC thermistors are packaged as a Tape & Reel (TR). The 0402 (1005 Metric) package contains it for your convenience. NTC thermistors require a resistance tolerance of ±5% for them to function. The temperature setting of NTC thermistors should be set to -40°C~150°C for reliable performance. Each of these NTC thermistors has a total of 2 terminations. To make NTC thermistors work, the 2 pins must be connected. It is possible for the electronic component to absorb the power dissipation generated by 0.07W. A NTC thermistor is capable of dissipating 70mW of power.
