Thermistors from NTC come in the form of a Tape & Reel (TR) package. In order to make it as convenient as possible, it has been included in the 0805 (2012 Metric) package. The resistance tolerance of NTC thermistors is ±5%. The maximum operating temperature of 125°C allows for reliable operation of NTC thermistors. In order to preserve reliability, NTC thermistors should not be operated at temperatures below -40°C. As a prerequisite for the NTC thermistors to function properly, the 2 pins must be connected.
