The PTC thermistors are put into Disc, 4.0mm Dia x 3.0mm W packages to protect the devices from damage. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) for safety purposes. In order to operate the PTC thermistors correctly, the minimum operating temperature should be set to -40°C. There must be no temperature above 165°C for this thermistor to function.
