0805 (2125 Metric) packages are used for PTC thermistors to prevent the devices from being damaged. Packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR), these PTC thermistors are safe to handle. 2 terminations are present on the PTC thermistor. This thermistor has 2 pins. Ideally, this power loss can be transferred and conducted by the thermistor without it overheating. A thermistor has a nominal voltage rating of 40V when it is working. As a result of PTC thermistors producing 0.1W heat, they have been rated as 0.1W.
