TFPT0805L2200FV Overview
The PTC thermistors are put into 0805 (2125 Metric) packages to protect the devices from damage. A Tape & Reel (TR) is used for the safety of these PTC thermistors. It is recommended to set the minimum operating temperature of the PTC thermistors at -55°C. In order for this thermistor to function properly, the operating temperature must not exceed 125°C. The thermistor consists of 2 pins. A PTC thermistor could supply 40V voltage when it is in operation. It is recommended that the thermistor's maximum power loss-transfer capability be set to 100mW in order to prevent overheating. Heat should be produced by PTC thermistors in the 100mW range.
