TFPT1206L5000FM Overview
The PTC thermistors are put into 1206 (3216 Metric) packages to protect the devices from damage. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) for safety reasons. A minimum operating temperature of -55°C should be set for the PTC thermistors. A thermistor's operating temperature must not exceed 150°C for it to function. There should be no overheating of the thermistor at this temperature, which makes it the best thermistor to transfer this power loss without overheating.
