In order to prevent damage to the PTC thermistors, these devices are packaged in 1206 (3216 Metric) packages. To provide safety, these PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR). Using PTC thermistors at -55°C temperature should be their minimum operating temperature. A temperature of 150°C is required to ensure the thermistor works properly. There should be no overheating when the thermistor's maximum capacity is 125mW.
