It is important to protect PTC thermistors from damage by placing them in 1206 (3216 Metric) packages. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) for safety reasons. For PTC thermistors, the minimum operating temperature should be -55°C. The operating temperature of this thermistor must not exceed 150°C. There should be no overheating if the thermistor is capable of transferring and conducting this power loss.
